Thyme Honey

Thyme honey is gathered from the blossom of wild avishan, Iranian mountain thyme, in late spring and summer. It is amber coloured with a distinctive herbal aroma and a lingering, slightly peppery finish, one of the most sought-after single-flower honeys in Iran.

In traditional medicine thyme honey is the first choice for coughs, sore throats and the cold season, valued for the antibacterial properties of both thyme and honey. Mojtahedi offers pure, unheated thyme honey sourced directly from mountain beekeepers.
