Konar (Sidr) Honey

Konar honey, known across the Arab world as Sidr honey, is gathered from the blossom of the Ziziphus spina-christi tree in the warm south of Iran. It is dark amber, thick and intensely aromatic, with a caramel-like depth that sets it apart from lighter floral honeys.

In Persian traditional medicine Konar honey is considered warming and strengthening, taken for energy and general vitality. Mojtahedi offers pure, unheated Konar honey sourced directly from trusted beekeepers, as well as blends with saffron and with royal jelly.
