Boxed Sargol Saffron

Boxed saffron is Mojtahedi's format for households and kitchens that use saffron regularly. Premium Qaenat Sargol threads are sealed inside a sturdy cardboard box that protects them from sunlight, humidity and air, the three things that fade saffron's colour and aroma.

Sargol is the all-red tip of the stigma, with the yellow style removed, so it gives the strongest colour and flavour per gram. The boxed range comes in heavier weights, from one mesghal (4.6 g) upward, each batch tested and certified.

Store the box closed in a cool, dark cupboard and take out only what you need; ground and steeped, a pinch is enough to colour a pot of rice.
